Autumn In Malvern Festival logo

The Autumn in Malvern Festival 2024 has 18 events over 5 weekends during September and October. There is the usual diverse mix of classical music, talks and exhibitions. Notable among them are talks by John Garth a world expert on Tolkien, Howard Jacobson, Man Booker prizewinning writer, film-maker, David Parker on Laurie Lee, Alison Bevan, Director of the Royal West of England Academy and Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.

The distinguished European Union Chamber Orchestra present an eclectic programme which includes Gustav Holst’s Brook Green Suite and a Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. There are exhibitions in Malvern Library, Malvern Priory and Elmslie House.
