Pensons on The Netherwood Estate is a festive oasis. With the large converted barn windows looking out onto the courtyard complete with red berries and large lit Christmas tree, it’s hard to imagine a more Christmassy sight. It’s your last chance to soak up all this yuletide cheer and dine with them before they close for their Christmas break. Gather your nearest and dearest, and join Pensons for an evening of fine, seasonal food, wine and beautifully designed and warm atmosphere. The restaurant is open this week (12 – 18 December) and will then re-open on 30 December, so book your table now to avoid missing out.
For the full experience book a night in one of Pensons beautifully decorated rooms. Enjoying that same lovely view into the courtyard and, in proximity to both the restaurant and abundant kitchen garden, these rooms provide the perfect place to close 2022 and welcome the New Year. Get the New Year off to the best of starts and stay with Pensons overnight during the New Year long weekend. Due to a cancellation for New Year’s Eve itself and – due to the timings of the bank holiday – Pensons are also open for lunch and dinner on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd January 2023.
During your visit make sure to stop by the small, but perfectly formed on site shop. This beautifully renovated timber frame shop is stuffed with ideal Christmas gifts, or treats to spend your Christmas money on. The courtyard shop has a wonderful array of special presents including small stocking fillers, beautiful homewares, produce from the Netherwood Estate and unique artisanal pieces. The shop is open everyday (but it is recommended to call in advance if planning to visit on a Monday or Tuesday) or shop online if you don’t fancy venturing out into the cold.
