Meet WalkMalvern, the Malvern Hills District Footpath Society!
Founded in 1973, they are the longest established walking club in the Malvern Hills District.
If you enjoy exploring new footpaths, beautiful scenery, and connecting with like-minded individuals, then this is the group for you. They enjoy welcoming new members on regular short Saturday and Wednesday walks which are usually between 4 and 6 miles. They also have Saturday (occasionally Sunday) long walks of between 8 and 10 miles.
Malvern Hills District Footpath Society is a walking group for all ages and abilities. Whilst Malvern is in the name, it doesn’t mean that they walk exclusively on the Hills. In fact, they provide guided walks throughout the Malvern area, travelling up to 20-30 miles away if there’s a walk the group wishes to do in the surrounding countryside and bordering Counties.
They are a friendly club and you can be sure of a warm welcome. So why not give it a try?
If you are just visiting the Malvern area you are very welcome to join one of their walks. You just need to make contact through Meetup to get details of the start of the walk.
You are welcome to join the group for three walks before you will be asked you to join the Society. Membership is £5 per person per year and covers all walks throughout the year, without additional cost.
Please note that the Organisers and Hosts of events, cannot be held responsible for the welfare, safety or access needs of anyone who participates in a walk. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and attend all walks at their own risk.
