Event Description
Part of Little Malvern Priory’s celebration year festivities
The grand finale is a performance featuring the 875 Celebration Choir, professional soloists and a full orchestra, conducted by Alison Hunka.
Handel’s Messiah, composed in 1741, is one of the most iconic oratorios in Western classical music. Originally written for solo voices, choir, and orchestra, it tells the story of Christ’s life, from prophecy and birth to crucifixion and resurrection. The work is divided into three parts: the first focuses on Christ’s birth, the second on his passion, and the third on redemption and victory.
