Event Description

Malvern’s 19th century boarding houses offered style, comfort and often the latest in technology, and attracted clientele from the higher rungs in society. Join Faith Renger to find out why Malvern had so many boarding houses and attracted so many well-off families. The talk will reveal the hazards that lurked in these fashionable homes that put fear into the boarding house keepers if discovered.

Cost: Free to members of the Friends of Malvern Museum (otherwise £3)

Refreshments are served during the meeting for a small charge.
