Majestic trees, complemented by superb architecture, make this walk one of the most beautiful and intriguing in the town. View some of the architect Edmund Elmslie’s best work, locate the Bhutan Pine, imagine life in ancient times, and understand the history of Swan Pool.
View Britain’s best Oriel, Lebanon Cedar and internationally recognised ‘handkerchief tree’. Meet a tree that helped Greek armies dominate the known world.
A second, slightly more vigorous walk, MWF16pm, takes place on the same day, but in the afternoon.
Both walks are repeated on Sunday 26 (MWF24am and MWF24pm)
