Mark the Summer Solstice in glorious harmony! Raising funds for homelessness charity Emmaus UK. Includes afternoon tea.
Experience for yourself the joy and connection singing in harmony with others in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere offers. The event runs from 2pm – 6pm on Saturday 22 June 2024.
Learn and sing uplifting part-harmony songs from a selection of the leading contemporary natural voice and community choir composers of today, plus songs from around the world and traditional songs.
Songs are taught by ear using call and response, and sung a cappella (without accompaniment). All voices and levels of singing experience are welcome (open to ages 15 – adult).
This lovely event will be led with humour, warmth and energy by Sarah Rowe. As well as holding special charity fundraising singing events throughout the year (see Sarah’s other Eventbrite listings for details) Sarah also leads natural voice singing groups ‘Sing For The Seasons’ and ‘Harmony Tribe’ locally in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Fee: £24 per person (plus Eventbrite fee – see Eventbrite page for more information), includes afternoon tea with tasty refreshments suitable for all dietary requirements. This is a charity fundraiser and all profits after event costs will go to Emmaus UK, a charity that works to support the homeless (registered charity number 1064470).
