Event Description
Tamar Eluned Williams tells stories in Welsh and English. Her performances are simultaneously playful, epic, and soulful, and weave story and song together to make magic with her audiences. She’s told stories in schools, museums, and festivals around the world; on beaches, in forests, by firelight and (the strangest place to date) on the top deck of the number 45 bus in Birmingham. She has stories for the youngest and oldest of listeners and believes storytelling is for everyone.
Previous performances include: Green Man Festival, Lakefest, National Centre for Folk Arts, Festival at the Edge and Beyond the Border. She has created commissions for the National Museum of Wales, BookTrust, and Sinfonia Cymru.
Tamar was awarded the Gwobr Esyllt Harker Award for a Welsh woman storyteller in 2016 and the UK Young Storyteller of the Year Award in 2013.
Each Session is 45 minutes and free of charge.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
