Event Description

The iconic Elgar Festival returns to Malvern and Worcester with an exciting programme of classical music events with music composed by England’s favourite tunesmith – Sir Edward Elgar. The festival brings together the musical talents of the English Symphony Orchestra and a plethora of talented local, national and international artists.

Embodying the ethos of the festival, ‘Elgar for Everyone’, over 300 amateur musicians will join in performances and every effort is made to make Elgar’s music accessible for all to enjoy.

The Malverns will host a series of events at Great Malvern Priory and The Firs: Elgar’s Birthplace Museum and Visitor Centre and a Morgan Rally around the Elgar Route. Further Elgar Festival events take place in Worcester City.
