Event Description

Set in 1990s Poland, Ruth (Lena Dunham), an American music journalist, and her father, Edek (Stephen Fry), a charmingly stubborn Holocaust survivor, set off on a road trip to his homeland.  With Ruth keen to make sense of her family’s past and Edek with his own agenda, the film is an emotional and funny culture clash of the two New Yorkers as they explore post-socialist Poland and see how reconnecting with family and the past can be an unexpected treasure.
