The annual Great Malvern Food Festival is back for its 14th year. The festival will continue to take place in Priory Park from 6 – 7 July 2024 Please note, this is event is FREE ENTRY and is open from 10am – 6pm on Saturday and 10am – 5pm on Sunday.
You’ll be in for a treat at this year’s food festival, which is one of the only FREE food festivals in the region. Munch your way through an ever-growing selection of locally sourced produce sold at a number of market stalls and additional street food vendors.
Enjoy a tipple in the sunshine from the bar which will offer a variety of locally brewed beer and cider and be entertained by live music and street performers throughout the day in the band stand.
Watch live cookery demonstrations and food and drink showcases to find out about some of the the top market traders in the Wot’s Cooking Demonstration Marquee. Be inspired to create fabulous dishes at home with some top local chefs on hand offering tips and advice using produce sourced from the stallholders.
Fantastic street entertainers will contribute to the festival atmosphere.

Suki Pantal, Founder of Suki’s Curries and Spices
Suki Pantal, founder of Suki’s Curries and Spices, is a cookbook author, culinary teacher, food columnist and speaker based in Malvern. Passionate about bringing the rich tapestry of Indian flavours to curry enthusiasts, Suki is a culinary ambassador and storyteller of Indian culture through food. She likes to cook, teach, and write about the diverse regional recipes from India and her debut cookbook – Garnish with Garam Masala – was released in May this year.

Indy (of Indy’s Indian Kitchen)
Indy set up her business two years ago on a part-time basis whilst working as a teacher. Having cooked for friends during covid, it was them who encouraged Indy to set up her business. Since then, she has moved into the business full time selling curries and Indian snacks at local markets, food festivals and pop-ups. Indy prides herself on authentic Punjabi recipes all of which are based on recipes passed down from her mum.

There are many handles for children to turn and make the Dragon-a-phone play some tunes through a myriad of brass pipes and horns. This is pure nostalgia and no electricity required. The dragon is a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship and happily installs itself at your event to the enchantment of all. |
