Colwall Orchards
Colwall Orchard Heritage Trail is a three mile circular walk to discover the history of Colwall Orchards, on easy paths and no stiles. Muddy in Winter and good footwear advised.
The first Colwall orchard is dated to 1577 near Barton Court southeast of the Village, but it was the arrival of the railway in 1861 that had the biggest impact on local fruit growing. So, this walk starts at the Railway Station. Arrive by train or seek a parking space.
Please note – a hardcopy version of the leaflet / map is available for £2 from the village Post Office and Library, Colwall Park Hotel, and Malvern Tourist Information Centre.
